"In the Eyes of Our Children" features photos and artwork from 132 local kids, ages 6 to 16. It captures the Houston they see, from bayous and baseball games to street vendors and skylines.

, a painter, began a long running project with more than 130 Houston-area school children. They teach them their respective art forms, having the kids produce their own art and photography inspired by the city and its diversity.

This Year the Pozos Art Project was held at Rice University for 2 weeks with a total of 32 kids ranging from 8 to 12. The Houston themed work they produced with photography and printmaking was of incredible quality and quantity.Here are some of the prints that were made:

Hey Hey… We are Leaving on a painting and photo expedition to Vera Cruz w Santiago Roca who's flying in from Madrid today and Ann and Julia are joining us in Puebla to make the drive. Will be posting a ton of photos next week and want to thank everybody for keeping up with the project.
