Houston Area Doberman Rescue is a 501c3 that takes in dobermans in need from all over TX. We are always in need of more volunteers

We are the first doberman rescue in Houston and have been operating for over 10 years. We vaccinate, microchip, spay/neuter, and treat heartworms before the dogs are placed in new homes. Only dogs of stable temperament and reasonable health are placed through our program. We maintain vet records and keep the dogs current on a regimen of heartworm preventative while they are in our program. We look

for the right home for each dog. Matches are made based upon the needs of the individual adoptive homes and the temperament of the dog.

Mikey has found a temporary foster solution!!! Thank you for everyone who has reached out and offered help. If only rescuers ruled the world

HADR has been called to see if we can help out Mikey!

Mikey is currently on a transport truck. This morning he thought he had a foster in San Antonio where he would stay for a couple weeks before going out of Texas. But for some reason that foster backed out. He doesn’t have a rescue or a back up plan. So now he’s still on the transport truck heading to Dallas. He will arrive in the Dallas area around 5:00 today. With NO WHERE TO GO!!!!

Mikey needs temporary foster, boarding, just somewhere to land tonight. HADR will take him into our rescue. We just don’t have a way to get to Dallas at 5:00. If you know of anyone who can help, please email us at [email protected]

Mikey is a two year old boy who is not yet neutered. He is vaccinated and has his Health certificate.

Let’s come together and find a temporary place for Mikey. He’s come this far and we don’t want to let him down.
