Why I'm betting on the Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce ๐ฏ
I've been doing a lot of thinking about this lately, and I want to share something real.
Houston has 166,000+ Vietnamese โ the second-largest Vietnamese community in America. That's not just a number. That's a network. That's power. That's family.
Here's what I keep coming back to:
The numbers matter. Chamber members are 64% more likely to win customer trust. That's not a slogan โ that's research. When you carry that badge, people buy differently. They trust differently.
But the feeling matters more. When you walk into a Vietnamese Chamber event, you're not just another business card in a fishbowl. People get you. They know your story. They know your family. They know what it took to get here. That trust? It's instant. It's deep. It's oxytocin doing what it does โ turning strangers into partners.
And when you see other Vietnamese business owners at the gala, at the mixers, landing deals and lifting each other up? That little voice asking "why am I not in that room?" โ that's your brain telling you something. That's FOMO. And it's pointing you toward your people.
Every handshake gives you a spark. Every referral gives you a rush. That's dopamine. That's your brain rewarding you for building something real.
Here's the bottom line:
The Asian Chamber is a big tent. The Vietnamese Chamber is family.
One gives you access. The other gives you belonging.
And belonging? That's what turns contacts into contracts, and colleagues into community.
If you've been on the fence โ this is your sign. Let's build together.
Who's with me?
