October 1st 2022 marked the 17th year of Patriots and Heroes Outdoors. We have taken thousands of wounded warriors hunting and fishing in those 17-years.

The events never get old. Every hunt and fishing trip is still as exhilarating as it was on our first fishing trip in 2005. Dozens of people have dedicated themselves to this endeavor of gratitude to our nations finest. Our mission has always and always will be, a team effort. No one individual made PHO the success that it is today.

Our first hunt of 2022 was no exception. Our SF wounded warriors harvested world class trophies at a beautiful, Texas, hill country ranch….. we are looking forward to this hunting season.

Wouldn’t you know it? It hasn’t rained in five months and when we have 15 wounded warriors and their wives come in for a fishing event; we get a tropical depression off the coast. I’m not complaining because, we needed the rain and we got it done In spite of the fact that we got wet.

The crew at the south end of Karokaway Bay were fantastic as usual. I believe that this is the best event so far. You folks do a fantastic job.
