Meet Duke — A Gentle Soul Ready for His Forever Home 🐾
Duke is a 6-year-old Shepherd-Husky mix with the kindest eyes and a heart full of love. His story started in Akron, where he and his siblings were rescued from heartbreaking conditions — they’d been kept in a broom closet in a kitchen. Despite what he’s been through, Duke’s spirit has stayed gentle, loyal, and full of sweetness.
Duke loves people and absolutely thrives on cuddles and attention — he’s happiest when he’s near his humans. He’s also close to his sister Daisy, so he’d love to be adopted with her if possible. However, Duke would also be content as the only dog in a calm, loving home where he can soak up all the affection.
He’s not a fan of cats or small children, but in the right home, Duke will be the most loyal and loving companion you could ever ask for.
