📚✨ More than just a summer event...

Last week, we kicked off our Summer Reading Night series at Piney Woods Elementary, bringing together students, families, books, dinner, and plenty of fun. Thanks to the support of our community and grant partners, students were able to take home free books and enjoy an evening focused on the joy of reading.

Our summer adventure continues on Thursday, June 18th, as we head to sunny Miami, Florida! Families will explore the sights, sounds, and culture of Miami while making special stops at the Kennedy Space Center and Little Havana along the way.

☀️ Summer may be in full swing, but the work doesn't stop here!

While Splendora ISD students & teachers are enjoying a well-deserved break, we're already hard at work preparing for an exciting new school year. From educator grants and fundraising events to literacy programs and student enrichment opportunities, there's a lot happening behind the scenes.

Because of the generosity of our donors, sponsors, and community partners, the Splendora ISD Education Foundation helped fund and support more than $127,000 in programs and opportunities during the 2025-2026 school year.

We're grateful for your support and can't wait to share what's ahead for 2026-2027!

We're looking for a few friendly faces to help us kick off our Summer Reading Nights at Piney Woods Elementary!

Volunteers will help welcome families, assist with activities, distribute books, and help create a fun and memorable evening for our students.

Summer Reading Nights are all about encouraging a love of reading, supporting our families, and helping prevent the summer slide—and we couldn't do it without amazing community volunteers!

WOW. What a day!

Thank you to our sponsors, golfers, volunteers, donors, and supporters who helped make the 2026 Splendora ISD Education Foundation Golf Tournament a tremendous success.

Despite keeping a close eye on the weather, the day was filled with great golf, friendly competition, amazing sponsors, the Principal Putt-Off, silent auction fun, and countless opportunities to support students and teachers across Splendora ISD.

Because of your generosity, we raised over $40,000 and can continue funding innovative classroom grants, student programs, scholarships, and educational opportunities throughout our district.

🌺 Splendora ISD’s Summer Family Reading Nights are Taking Flight on June 11! ✈️

Join us for our very first stop: the beautiful state of Hawaii! 🌴 We will experience the vibrant culture of the islands through delicious food, engaging read-alouds, fun activities, and crafts.

🐴 A Special Welcome: Upon arrival, families will be greeted by The Packhorse Library and the mounted patrol to receive their first book of the evening!

📅 Evening Schedule:

5:30 PM - 6:00 PM: Dinner is served 🍲

6:00 PM - 7:20 PM: Family activities & crafts 🎨

7:20 PM: Wrap-up & book selection (students get to pick books to take home!) 📚
