Hope Family Care Ministries Hope Family Care Ministries provides support, both short-term and long-term to families who have experienced loss of a child.

God birthed the specific idea of Hope Family Care Ministries in May of 2017, however He began casting its vision three years prior. In May of 2014, in the midst of losing our daughter Zoe unexpectedly to SIDS, we saw first hand how life-giving the support of other grieving parents was for our own hope and healing. As we met with people who had gone through a similar experience, and done so in a he

althy way, their wisdom and support was invaluable to us. The fact that they had 'survived' and were able to have an abundant life again on the other side was exactly the hope we needed to keep going in our own grief journey. In the years following, God began intertwining our family with several other families on their own grief journey, and we were given the opportunity to bring that same hope to them. Someone once shared with us, that our daughter's death was a terrible gift; and that one day we would understand what that meant. As we journey with other families, we have come to realize that the 'gift' of her death is the deep connection we share with other families who experience this same pain. It is a connection that instantly connects families- mother to mother, father to father, and sibling to sibling. It is a connection that reminds you that nobody needs to walk this journey alone.

This June, Hope Family Care and Esperanza Inquebrantable Ecuador are launching a citywide su***de prevention and grief support initiative in Cuenca, Ecuador.

Together, we will provide:

• Su***de prevention education
• Trauma-informed workshops
• Grief support gatherings
• Youth & family emotional health resources
• Community healing spaces
• Mental health awareness initiatives

Too many families are grieving in silence.
Together, we can bring hope, healing, and support to those who need it most.
