This Mental Health Awareness Month, runners gathered at the Roy Cullen Track in Memorial Park for the Blue Jean Mile Run — an inspiring event founded in 2020 by professional runner Johnny Gregorek to honor the memory of his brother Patrick and raise awareness for mental health. 💙

Participants completed four loops around the track in support of a powerful reminder: “A mile is hard, mental health is harder.”

We are incredibly grateful to share that a $2,500 check was presented to to support our Behavioral Health Services. Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and helped make this meaningful event possible:

Together, we continue driving healthy change and supporting mental health in our community.

A full house. Incredible energy. Fashion, wellness, philanthropy, and community all in one room.

The inaugural Legacy Radiance Series at Tootsies was everything we hoped for and more. Friends of Legacy came together for a vibrant afternoon benefiting Legacy Community Health’s Women’s Health Services, helping ensure women and families across our region have access to compassionate, high-quality healthcare.

Guests heard inspiring remarks from Dr. Erica Giwa and Canyon Ranch CEO Mark Rivers, enjoyed a stunning Christy Lynn fashion presentation, and shopped the sparkling Fantasia by Deserio Jewelry trunk show.

A huge thank you to Tootsies for hosting this beautiful event and donating 10% of sales to Legacy.

From all of us at Legacy Community Health, we extend our deepest appreciation to our fallen heroes and to the military families who carry their legacy forward.

School may be out, but mental health support should never take a break.

Summer can be a time of change for kids and teens, with less structure and fewer trusted adults around. That can bring added stress, anxiety, or emotional challenges. It can also be the perfect time to pause, reflect, and build new coping skills.

Legacy Community Health keeps school- based therapy and pediatric services available all summer, including convenient telehealth options that meet families where they are. Together, we can help children feel supported, confident, and ready for the year ahead.

What a beautiful afternoon celebrating wellness, connection, and community at our inaugural Radiance luncheon!

Thank you to Tootsies for hosting and to Mark Rivers, CEO of Canyon Ranch, for an inspiring conversation on women’s wellness and self-care. Thank you also to Dr. Erica Giwa, Medical Director-Obstetrics & Gynecology at Legacy Community Health, for speaking about the importance of women’s health.

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us for this vibrant and fashionable gathering in support of Legacy's women’s health services.

Let’s celebrate this big win! Stephanie Ramirez, Vice President of School-Based Health Care at Legacy, has been named a 2026 Breakthrough Woman by the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce.

This recognition honors bold, trailblazing leaders, and Stephanie brings that energy every single day. Her work is expanding access to care, strengthening families, and making a lasting impact across our community.

At Legacy, we believe great patient care starts with supporting great people. During National Nurses Month, we are proud to recognize the 2026 DAISY Award recipients who exemplify compassion, commitment, and leadership every day.

Congratulations to Edwin Arujo, RN at Legacy Southwest, whose selflessness and dedication shine through in every patient interaction. We also celebrate Mary Marquez, Regional Nurse Manager for School-Based Health, for her outstanding leadership and tireless advocacy for her team.

Because of nurses like Edwin and Mary, our communities are healthier and stronger every day.

Now THAT was a first Legacy Open to remember.

A day full of great shots, friendly competition, big laughs, and even bigger impact helped raise more than $50,000 for Behavioral Health Services at Legacy Community Health.

Thank you to our title sponsor, H-E-B, and to everyone who came out to play, volunteer, cheer, and celebrate with us at East River 9. Special shout out to our event chairs Keaton Shaw and Kaleb Sanders for helping us make our inaugural tournament an unforgettable one.

Safe to say we’re already ready for next year.
