Scouting for food ✅

Our scouts spent two weekends working on gathering food for NAM.

1st weekend scouts put out hangers announcing the pick up of food the following weekend.

This weekend we picked up the food and brought it to NAM. 476 lbs!! 🎉

Congrats to scoutmaster Tom Glave for earning his Wood Badge!

Wood Badge is the premier, advanced leadership training for adult volunteers in Scouting, teaching modern leadership skills for all programs (Cub, Scouts BSA, Venturing) over two weekends and through completing a personal "Ticket" of goals, focusing on team building, problem-solving, and personal growth, making leaders more effective in Scouting and life.

Participants earn the Wood Badge necklace, Gilwell scarf, and woggle, symbolizing commitment and leadership.

Each e-games weekend begins on Saturday morning with a service project. This weekends project was labeling the storm drains.
Scouts bring games of all kind to play with groups. There is usually a smash brothers tournament or two.

Anyone can help out at the Houston Food Bank. There are 2 four hour shifts to make it easy to help serve your community. Volunteer today!
