Today was very impactful attending the Texan Together Summit where we learned about the different levels of Texans Together and community-based practice with children in foster care. The room was full of positive energy and providers ready to serve their community.

To God alone be all the Glory for Great things he has done. This morning we sent out 3 boxes of clothes, shoes and 9 bicycles for underprivileged and less fortunate children. We believe that every child deserves to live a comfortable life. To all those who donated, we want to say a big thank you to you. Your generosity is highly appreciated and we pray that God continue to multiply and increase you.

Our March food distribution to God's People went well. We serve 208 People and thank God for the increase. We went from 75 plates to 208 plates. You can suppose by visiting our website .hoffgen.org or zelle @hoffgen.org. We do $5.00 a plate. Come out and volunteer as well. Whatever way you can be a participant.

I want to express my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to FAM Houston for affording me the time to speak to citizenship navigators on Trauma Informed Approach.

Many refugees struggle because of fear of past experiences which become challenging for them to open up and receive the help that they need. Trauma causes depression, anxiety, lack of trust, social isolation etc.

FAM Houston today certificated citizenship navigators to go out in the community and build lasting relationships with refugees and help them to navigate their fears and work towards obtaining their citizenship. I am so grateful that I could be a participant of this dynamic group and forum today. We want to say to those who got certificated today that we are SUPER PROUD of you. Go and do your best impacting lives and changing their stories.
