FOUNDED: January 5, 2010
MISSION: To promote the Country & Western and West Coast Swing dance scene in the Houston metropolitan area. Meet and greet people in the Greater Houston area who love country music and dancing! We'll help you find places where you can take lessons or where you can dance! We'll not just do the Texas Two Step but also Nightclub Two Step, the Polka, the Waltz, the Cha-Cha plus West Coast Swing, Zydeco, square dancing and contra dancing and line dancing too! No partner is needed. We have done meetups primarily at C&W bars, dance studios, party halls and festivals primarily in the southwest, northwest and innerloop areas of Houston and occasionally in the outlaying areas, such as Katy, Pasadena and Spring. Currently our in-person gatherings are on-hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the admin’s other dance commitments. As many places to dance at would be held at bars, we suggest you be at least 21 years of age to join. Contribute to HCWDM and the DancePosse family:
