THIS SATURDAY IS A SPECIAL EVENT FOR ALL AGES.

Live Raptors - the Ambassador Birds from the Houston SPCA Wildlife Center will be displayed by their volunteer handlers - up close and personal! Learn about the rescue and rehabilitation efforts of the Wildlife Center.

Visit with Texas Master Naturalist Coastal Prairie Chapter volunteers and learn lots of cool facts about birds of prey in Texas.

The kids can dissect real owl pellets to discover what the owl had been eating!!

This is a special "edition" of Habitat Heroes where it is just as much for adults as for kids! Visiting with the SPCA Wildlife Center's ambassador birds is absolutely awe-inspiring. Don't miss out. You can show some Weston Lakes love and thank them for their great work by purchasing supplies for them from their Amazon Wish List. They can also use clean used T-shirts - just bring them when you come see them at the KWLB Bird Sanctuary.
