Street Grace

Street Grace We are committed to a future where children are free from sexual exploitation.

Street Grace is one of the pioneers in the human trafficking "space" - a $290 million illegal industry in Georgia, alone. Since our inception in 2009, Street Grace has worked to bring together nonprofits, businesses, churches and individuals with one purpose - ending domestic minor sex trafficking (DMST). Street Grace's foundation rests on two core values: Collaboration and Transformation. We believe it is vital for organizations in the sex trafficking space to join together under one cause to raise one voice and most importantly, we are driven by the desire to help people move towards wholeness. Our mission is to end DMST and we believe that this is only possible by stopping the Demand. To effectively address the demand for DMST, Street Grace focuses on three key program areas: Education, Awareness, and Action. All of our initiatives address these key areas to create a comprehensive approach to ending the demand for sex with children and reaching buyers before they reach our youth.

This past week, we received critical data on how countries globally are responding to and participating in the fight against human trafficking worldwide.

The U.S. Department of State’s annual Trafficking in Persons (TIP) Report examines how governments around the world are responding to human trafficking- and where gaps remain.

Historically, this report has played a great role in strengthening international collaboration, and promoting greater accountability in efforts to combat human trafficking worldwide.

Education and awareness are essential to combatting this issue.

Today, October 10, is World Mental Health Day. 💜

You matter. You are not alone. You deserve to feel safe, heard, and supported.

At Street Grace, we believe every child deserves to grow up in an environment where they feel safe, valued, and protected. Creating safer communities starts with awareness, and ensuring that every person knows they are not alone.

Together, we can help prevent exploitation and build a world where every child has the opportunity to thrive.

Visit streetgrace.org/resources to learn more about how you can help protect children and create safer communities.

Seventeen people were arrested this week during a human trafficking operation in Alabama.

This list includes Alabama State Representative Brett Easterbrook, who is facing charges of attempted human trafficking.

This case is a concerning reminder of the gaps in oversight that can exist when the very people entrusted with passing laws to protect our children are also part of the demand that fuels trafficking.

We are grateful for the law enforcement officers who acted to protect potential victims and hold alleged buyers accountable.

At Street Grace, we continue to equip and partner with law enforcement across the country to provide the tools, training, and resources needed to prevent exploitation, disrupt demand, and pursue justice.

Transaction Intercept identifies and interrupts potential exploitation before a child is harmed. As a tool for law enforcement across the country, it puts technology in the hands of those working to protect children.

But technology alone cannot end exploitation. It takes people willing to step in, support solutions, and help bring exploitation out of the shadows.

Your support helps make tools like this possible, and allows the work to protect children to continue.

Learn more about Transaction Intercept and how you can be part of the solution at streetgrace.org/pursuit.

Human trafficking is not a partisan issue. No matter who is in office, we must ensure our leaders understand what trafficking looks like today and support policies that effectively protect our children, and address exploitation.

Learn more about the policies we support at streetgrace.org/policy, and use your voice to keep this critical issue on the table.

After experiencing the abuse and trauma of trafficking, the road to recovery is not an easy one. But a trauma-informed, survivor-centered approach starts with a simple belief: every survivor has inherent strengths and resilience.

With access to the right care, resources, and support, survivors can heal, rebuild their lives, reclaim their futures, and thrive.

Recovery is possible. Safety is possible. Healing is possible.

With your help, we can continue providing the support and resources survivors need on their journey toward healing and stability.

This is what the power of we looks like.

Last year, hundreds of people filled the room with a shared commitment to protect children from commercial s*xual exploitation. And as Street Grace President & CEO Bob Rodgers reminded us that night, what happened in the room didn't end there.

The generosity, influence and belief of people who chose to show up helped fuel work that continued long after the evening was over.

On November 5, we gather again.

Join Ernie Johnson, special guest Jeff Foxworthy, and a community choosing to use its influence for good.

This is why the night matters. This is the power of we.
