Sankt Hans Aften Celebration: Bonfire, Hot Dogs, and Fun in Sargent!
🔥🇩🇰
We're thrilled to invite you to our annual Sankt Hans Aften (Midsummer's Eve) celebration on Saturday, June 20th. You're welcome to arrive any time after 5 PM.
Join us at Steen Pedersen's lovely home located at 1754 County Road 230, Sargent, Texas, 77414. (Steen’s mobile is 713-726-0041). We'll sing traditional Danish songs and have an bonfire around dusk (~9 PM), marking the longest day of the year.
The Club will provide delicious Danish hot dogs (with Danish pølser) and beer to keep everyone fueled for fun! We'll also have a Viking game set up for those who enjoy a bit of friendly competition.
To make sure you're comfortable throughout the evening, please remember to bring your own lawn chairs, bug spray, and sunscreen. If the water conditions are right, swimming might be possible, so pack your swim clothes and towels if you'd like to take a dip! Guests are also welcome to bring a dessert or snack to share, but it's completely optional.
Please RSVP so we can get a headcount and plan accordingly. We can't wait to share this special evening with all of you!
Please Indicate in the Comments section if you are bringing something to share!
