LULAC Council 255 Texas City is incredibly proud to honor the AMAZING Olga Rodriguez — a woman whose life has been defined by servant leadership, integrity, compassion, and dedication to her community. ❤️🙌
With OVER FIVE DECADES of professional experience in healthcare, education, government, accounting, administration, and nonprofit leadership, Olga has built a reputation for excellence everywhere she has served. Her educational journey through Durham Business College, Texas Southmost College, and COM laid the foundation for a remarkable career dedicated to helping others succeed.
During her incredible 32-YEAR CAREER at UTMB, Olga supported both academic and clinical departments, working closely with administration and faculty professionals. Her professionalism, organizational skills, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment made her an invaluable asset and respected leader throughout the institution. Her career also included service with the City of Galveston and Galveston County Accounting Departments, where she continued to demonstrate excellence and dedication.
But Olga’s impact reaches FAR beyond the workplace. 💙
For more than 40 YEARS, she has faithfully served her church and community through fundraising efforts, clothing drives, meal distribution programs, and outreach initiatives for families and individuals in need. She has volunteered countless hours supporting organizations such as Ronald McDonald House, Heart of Refuge, United We Stand in Jesus Christ, and numerous nonprofit boards and community programs.
Even after retirement, Olga’s passion for service never stopped. Today, she continues sharing her knowledge and professionalism as an Administrative Assistant at JPR Bookkeeping and Tax Service, where her positive spirit and experience continue making a difference every day.
Olga Rodriguez represents the true meaning of COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP, HUMILITY, GENEROSITY, and SERVICE ABOVE SELF. Her legacy is one of compassion, faith, excellence, and unwavering commitment to helping others.
