The evidence is clear, Girl Scout Forensic Science Day was a success! 🔍🧪

Our girls got to solve mysteries through hands-on activities including fiber analysis, blood typing, fingerprint analysis, and more. By stepping into the role of forensic scientists, they gained exposure to real-world STEM applications while building critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Thank you to Dow for helping us introduce girls to exciting STEM careers and inspiring the next generation of scientists.

Happy National S'mores Day! Our Girl Scouts have enjoyed plenty of this ooey-gooey treat around the campfire this summer, but did you know Girl Scouts helped make this iconic treat famous?

The earliest known published recipe appeared in the 1927 Girl Scout handbook Tramping and Trailing with the Girl Scouts. It was originally called “Some More.” The name said it all ... one was never enough!

Meet the 24 Gold Award Girl Scouts who earned a share of $30,000 in scholarships this year.

Scholarship recipients were recognized through the Emerald Circle Scholarship program, named scholarships and the Goodykoontz Scholar Award.

Through their Gold Award projects, these young women identified community challenges, developed sustainable solutions and made a lasting impact across Southeast Texas. Their work reflects the leadership, service and commitment recognized through Girl Scouting's highest award.
