You have been requesting and we have been promising for a while that the Parvo Treatment Center would offer a F***l Analysis class. Finally, we can offer that training to rescue personnel and fosters for a rescue. The course will be offered at the Parvo Treatment Center and the class size will be restricted 8-10 people (if we have an more than 12 registration, we will consider a second session later in the summer). Class is on June 1 from 8:00am-4:00pm and includes lunch. The Cost is $120 which includes instruction materials and a 4-hour hands on lab. There is a $20 supply fee as well, however that fee is waived if you want to bring you own microscope and slides. If you currently do not have a microscope and would like to consider purchasing one, we have found a very reasonably priced one on Amazon that works for rescues (Link below).

This course is not meant to replace the necessary veterinary care which rescue dogs need. Since rescues normally do basic worming for their rescue dogs, this course is designed to help you understand and recognize the parasite that your dogs may have. It focuses on the use of simple f***l analysis and Over-the-Counter medications that can be used to treat those parasites.
Jaycee Thompson will be the instructor for this course. Jaycee is the Vet II & Practicum instructor for JB Hensler College and Career Academy. She has taught several courses for us before and currently also serves as Medical Advisor on the PTC board.
Seating is limited for this course, please contact me at 713-828-4154. Once you are registered, you will receive an email with a copy of the syllabus for the course and link to pay for the course. Please remember: This course is only for rescue personnel and fosters. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
