Q Street was proud to host our third Capitol Bridge Series at Cornerstone Government Affairs.

The evening featured a candid bipartisan conversation with Nick Bayer, Chief of Staff to Congressman Jeff Hurd (R-CO-03), and Roddy Flynn, Chief of Staff to Congresswoman Sarah McBride (D-DE-AL), who shared perspectives on legislative priorities and the importance of building effective relationships across the aisle.

Thank you to our speakers and everyone who joined us. We are excited to continue growing this new offering for our sponsors to have a forum for meaningful engagement with leaders on the Hill.

Last week, Q Street was proud to present the Equality Legacy Award to Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi.

Speaker Pelosi's legacy reflects the progress our movement has fought to achieve. From making the HIV/AIDS crisis the subject of her first speech in Congress, to championing the Ryan White CARE Act, helping to repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," advancing marriage equality, and standing up for LGBTQ Americans throughout her career, she has consistently led with courage and conviction.

As we celebrate Pride Month, we're grateful for our ally leaders who have helped expand dignity, opportunity, and equality for generations.

Speaker Pelosi, thank you for your extraordinary leadership.
