Broiler exhibitors!

🐔 It’s Broiler Day! 🐔

Eva and Shebia are en route to College Station now to pick up your birds! We’ll send out an update when they are heading back and again when they are about an hour away so you can get ready.

👀 Peep the two cutest chicks in our flock — Eva and Shebia — in their matching themed outfits! 🐥💛

📍 Pick-Up Location:
508 S Main St, Anahuac, TX
(White stone front building)

⚠️ Important Reminders:

ALL birds must be picked up by 5:00 PM
(We will not stay late or hold birds)

Bring your own box to transport your birds home

🐥 Pick-Up Process:

When you arrive, a team member will assist you. Each box quadrant will have approximately 25 birds, and we will work through one quadrant at a time.

You will:
✔️ Select your birds
✔️ Read wing band numbers aloud for recording
✔️ Handle your own birds (we’ll help if needed)

🚨 Please Note:
Birds can ONLY be passed on if they are:
Deceased
Visibly ill
Deformed
Wing band is at risk of falling out

Final decisions on passing birds will be made by the assisting team member

Upside-down wing bands are NOT a valid reason to pass

🐖 2026 CCYPS Scramble Entries Are Now Open! 🐐🐑

Get ready for one of the most exciting and fun traditions of the Chambers County Youth Project Show — the Scrambles!

Youth will have the opportunity to compete in the following divisions:

🐷 Greased Pig Scramble – Ages 5–8
🐇 Small Animal Scramble – Ages 9–18
🐐 Large Animal Scramble – Ages 9–18

Participants who successfully catch an animal earn the opportunity to raise that animal and return to show it next year, making this event a great way for kids to get involved in livestock projects.
