‼️ Katy Pride Forced to Relocate After Abrupt Venue Cancellation by Typhoon Texas Despite No Credible Safety Concerns ‼️

We are deeply disappointed to share that our contracted venue, Typhoon Texas Waterpark, has canceled our event less than 72 hours before Katy Pride, citing “guest and staff safety” despite contracted private security and unfounded concerns. We want to assure you that Katy Pride WILL NOT BE CANCELED. We remain steadfast in our mission to celebrate love, unity, and equality for all.

We are currently securing a new venue for the Pride Celebration on Saturday, October 18, from 11AM - 4PM and an updated location will be announced soon.

The new location for tomorrow's Katy Pride Kick-off Party is First Christian Church Katy (Disciples of Christ) on Thursday, October 16 at 6:30PM.
Tickets are still available!

Thank you for your continued support, strength, and resilience, together, we will make Pride happen. We refuse to be canceled and we will not be erased.

This year’s Fort Bend County Pride Festival reminded us of one thing — our community is powerful, resilient, and full of love. 💖 We’re so grateful to our incredible volunteers, talented entertainers, generous sponsors, dedicated vendors, and every attendee who came out to stand for unity, acceptance, and joy. 🌈 Together, we made memories, celebrated diversity, and showed the world what Fort Bend Pride is all about. 🏳️‍🌈

We are deeply honored to have received a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from Rep. Al Green for our service to the community, and a Proclamation from Commissioner Dexter L. McCoy recognizing our work and impact. 💫
