What may look like just a picnic table will become a place where children can share a meal, play a game, create a craft, or simply pause and enjoy being kids.

❤️A story from OUR open home. ❤️

Three days. That's how long a teenage girl had been at Isaiah 117 House while caseworkers worked to find the right placement.

When one of our volunteers arrived for her first shift, she found the teen making colorful soaps. As they talked, the volunteer noticed one shaped like a little duck. "A duck!" she smiled. "I'm kind of known as the duck lady."

Without missing a beat, the teen replied, "Do you want it? You can have it."

This is what is possible at an Isaiah 117 House. A child whose world is uncertain can still find joy in giving.

The evening was filled with crafts, games, laughter, snacks, and caring adults who simply showed up to love her while caseworkers searched for placement.

As the volunteer prepared to leave, she hugged the little duck and said, "I'll think of you every time I look at it."

Sometimes the smallest gifts leave the biggest imprint. A tiny duck. A generous heart. A reminder that even on the hardest days, love has a way of finding us.

We are looking for a team of Handyman Volunteers who are willing to use their skills to help keep our home running smoothly. From hanging shelves and assembling furniture to making minor repairs and completing small maintenance projects, your talents can make a lasting difference for the children and caseworkers we serve.

National numbers! 🍋💛🎉

WOW! Thank you to all our communities across the nation! You all are changing the way foster care begins one cup at a time! 🍋🍋🍋

This past weekend was our annual Lemonade Stand Weekend, and you all held 1,904 lemonade stands that spread awareness to 103,309 people and raised $828,164! We truly cannot do this work without you! It is amazing to see what God has done with a few lemonade stands that raised $7,000 back in July of 2017.

We are truly overwhelmed by His goodness and your generosity and passion for this ministry! Thank you for helping change the way foster care begins!

🍋Our Lemonade Stand Challenge Weekend totals are IN!

❤️Thank you, Brazoria County, for showing up for kids awaiting foster care placement! Together, we had 28 lemonade stands, reached 3,275 people, and raised $21,319.46! 🎉🍋💛
