WE GOTTA DATE SATURDAY, BABY! WOOOO!!!
I don't know about y'all, but I'ma be out at dat GumboFest at The Lodge and Tavern at Cypress Falls, me. We got live Zydeco by our padnahs, T' Monde, who are comin' all the way from Lafayette, down where your mean 'ol mamaw lives and them. We also got us a silent auction, some of dem prize raffles, and a big 'ol kid's area so you don't gotta s***k 'em out in front of the grown folks out havin' a good time. We even got a face painter for them sha bebes so they be lookin' good for dat Instagram.
If y'all on dat fence about entering an' fais do-do with us and get dat money you better get off that thing and google yourself on over to www.wimberleygumbofest.com and fill you out dat online registration. Y'all can download and read them rules there, too.
Don't forget all dat money we make we gon' give right to My Neigbor's Keeper to keep dem helpin' folks that need it most! We gotta also thank all dem sponsors too, like dat Byron Eckols - State Farm Agent, Ozona Bank, Wimberley Knights of Columbus, Sabre Commercial, Inc., Cragg's Hardware, Wimberley Shave Ice, Wimberley Ace Hardware & Gift, Blue Jug of Wimberley, Mesquite Retreat Vacation Rentals, and probably some more by the time we done.
