"I dance for the millions who cannot speak."

When Aaron Huynh was about three years old, his mother went to China from Australia to appeal directly against the persecution of Falun Gong, a peaceful spiritual practice. She and his aunt were detained in Beijing before they could say a word — and though eventually released as Australian citizens, they were blacklisted from ever returning.

“I still had something many others didn’t: my parents came home,” he says.

Now a principal dancer with Shen Yun, Aaron performs to keep his mother's courage alive on stage, and for the children, he says, "still waiting for loved ones who will never return."

On July 15, Texas Falun Dafa practitioners gathered at Hermann Square in front of Houston City Hall for a peaceful rally marking 27 years of the Chinese Communist Party’s persecution of Falun Dafa.

Practitioners shared their personal experiences of persecution in China, recounting stories of imprisonment, torture, and the denial of their fundamental right to freedom of belief. Their heartfelt testimonies moved many in attendance and served as a powerful reminder of the courage and resilience of those who continue to uphold the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance despite decades of repression.

The rally also called on the international community to help end the persecution and uphold the universal values of human rights and freedom of belief.

🇺🇸 Celebrating America’s 250th Birthday 🇺🇸

On July 4, 2026, as the United States celebrated the 250th anniversary of its independence, Texas Falun Dafa practitioners proudly participated in the Independence Day Parade in The Woodlands, Texas.

The Falun Dafa contingent featured an energetic waist drum team, colorful banners, elegant traditional costumes, and peaceful exercise demonstrations. Their vibrant performance filled the parade route with joy and positive energy, earning warm applause, cheers, and waves from thousands of spectators.

Through music, culture, and the universal principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, practitioners shared a message of peace, kindness, and hope while joining the community in celebrating America’s enduring ideals of freedom and liberty.

On this historic milestone, the enthusiastic welcome from the community reflected the timeless values that bring people together and make the American spirit so enduring.
