Evangeline Paige Sudhalter Memorial Scholarship

09/12/2026

2026 EPS Recipient Zachary Carroll was back in Cedar Hill for Friday night's Homecoming Game.

The Texas A&M Student was glad to do the "Gig Em" sign but reluctant for the "Horns Up." I reminded him that it was all for Cedar Hill, not texas university!

Congratulations to 2026 EPS Scholarship Recipient Zachary Carroll, who graduated 33rd out of 491 students in the Cedar Hill High School Class of 2026 on Tuesday morning at the College Park Center in Arlington.

Carroll is a member of the Fightin' Texas Aggies Class of 2030. Gig 'Em!

Congratulations to 2023 EPS Scholarship Recipients Elijah and Ethan Duncan, who graduated from The University of Texas at Austin last weekend.

They will take a gap year to get clinical experience before starting Medical School in 2027!

We had a chance to present the 2026 Evangeline Paige Sudhalter Memorial Scholarship to Cedar Hill High School senior Zachary Carroll in the amount of $3,000.

Carroll is the first EPS Recipient to attend Texas A&M University. Go Aggies! He plans to become a Physical Therapist.

Since 2020, we've presented 13 scholarships for a total of nearly $22,000.

We can't wait to present again in 2027!

We were visiting the Kansas City area last week and had a chance to stop by University of Saint Mary where 2021 EPS Recipient Reilly Anthony was a student. It is a beautiful campus!

2023 EPS Recipients Ethan and Elijah Duncan will graduate from The University of Texas at Austin in two months! They are grateful for the support they received from the Scholarship!

Because the two Cedar Hill Collegiate High School Graduates are graduating early, they'll be taking a gap year before applying to medical school.

During that time, they plan to build clinical experience, stay involved in serving the community, and strengthening their preparation for medical school!

Thank you to Vernon Folks of Vernon Folks/Edward Jones for his generous donation to the EPS Scholarship.

It helped us reach a milestone of $26,000 raised since we started the Scholarship six years ago!

We reached two major milestones this week, thanks to our generous donors!

The Scholarship has now raised more than $25,000 since it started in 2020. We never could have imagined this in our wildest dreams.

And for the second straight year, we will be presenting two $3,000 Scholarships to Cedar Hill ISD Graduates who plan on studying Medicine or Counseling in college.

01/31/2026

We are close to reaching the $25,000 all-time mark for the Scholarship!

Thank you for your generosity and dedication.

However, we need to raise $300 by mid-February in order to match last year's $3,000 Scholarship amount.
