God is always looking out for us. He will never tempt us with something that is too difficult for us to bear. Sometimes life can seem too difficult and the temptations too great, but this can also be viewed as God believing in us, that we are able to bear these trials. His faith and love never cease, and more importantly, neither does his love and belief in us. What about our love and belief in him? That is the more important question.

He has chosen us to propagate the gospel across the whole world – regardless of our social standing, our nationality, our race, our financial statues, or anything else. God has called every single one of His children to spread the word of His love that was shown through his son, Jesus Christ.

Who in your life have you imitated in some way? Parents? Siblings? Teacher? Maybe even a fictional character? How many of us can say we have really tried to imitate Jesus? It seems so obvious but is so difficult in reality. Jesus gave His life so that we had the choice of how to live our lives: imitate Him or pursue selfish desires. This verse simply explains whom we should look at as an example. The rest is up to us.

As Believers, we are the ones who can be called born of God. We are children of God meaning that we have been begotten by Him; we are born of Him. This means that we have overcome the world! Victory is certain for us – in life and in death. No work of the enemy can ever prevail over our lives and we can have confidence about this because we know that we are born of God.

God is good and that will never change. It who He is. Time and time again we are reminded in the Bible, God's Word, that His mercy is everlasting It is because of God's mercy, we have the confidence in Him that we have. God's word will always reign supreme for an eternity to come. People will always try to say things to doubt the existence of God, or to doubt how genuine God's love is, but none of these words will ever be true. God's goodness, love, mercy and His truth will never die. They will go from everlasting to everlasting.
