Kritter Angels of Texas We are a non-profit organization based near Houston, Texas. We are your resource for wildlife emergencies. Don’t know where to take it?

We will provide appropriate guidance when you have found an injured, orphaned or displaced animal. If you’ve found an injured or orphaned wild animal and don’t know what to do, we prefer you text us first. If we haven’t responded within 10 minutes, try calling. We will provide you with helpful information on caring for the animal until you can get it to a permitted wildlife rehabber. We can help you with that as well.

BIRD QUIZ: Here is a bird photographed in Pennsylvania in early September 2024. Do you know what species it is? Leave your answer in Comments and we'll post ours at the end of the day. Thanks to Peter Hamner for sharing this photo with eBird and the Macaulay Library archive.

The “battle” of the species rages on. (Actually they do like snuggling together.)

I feel like this picture needs a caption. And, GO!
