Yesterday was a first for three of our members, Jorge, Sergio, and Beto! 🎉 Each proudly represented our chapter at the Southwest District Speaking Development Events, and one even stepped up as a district officer candidate.

💛 Jorge delivered an impactful speech on improving livestock genetics and creating lasting change.

💛 Sergio shared insights on regenerative agriculture, reminding us that sometimes the best way forward is going back to our roots.

💛 Beto gave it his all in a competitive district officer race. While not selected, he showed true character, celebrating his peers as they were installed and supporting those who shared the same outcome.

We couldn’t be prouder of these young men and the way they represented our chapter! 🌟

A little late, but too good not to share! 🐔✨

Our broiler exhibitors put in the work and made us proud at Rodeo Houston. Early mornings, late nights, and true dedication led to an incredible outcome!

We’re excited to celebrate that FOUR pens earned a spot in the Premium Auction, a huge accomplishment and a testament to the effort these exhibitors put in every single day. 👏🎉

Success isn’t only measured in banners,
it’s built through hard work, growth, and determination. We are proud of every exhibitor who stepped into the ring and gave it their all.

This group represented us with pride, and we couldn’t be more proud of them! 💙

Colton and his steer, Moonshine, wrapped up an incredible show career as they made their final trip across the green shavings. 🧡

Years of hard work, early mornings, and dedication all led to this moment, and Moonshine was the perfect partner to finish out the journey. Together, they represented everything it means to be a true exhibitor, grit, pride, and perseverance.

While this marks the end of Colton’s time in the ring, the memories, lessons, and friendships built along the way will last far beyond the show barn. We are so proud of the young man he has become and excited to see what his future holds.

🌟 The 2026 Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo marked the end of an unforgettable chapter for two of our senior exhibitors as they took their final lap around the green shavings. 💚

🌟 Kane and Juliana represented the culmination of hard work, dedication, and passion for the show ring. Kane had an incredible run showing Cheri in both the HLSR Scramble Show and the Angus breed show, while Juliana proudly exhibited DeDe in the ORB class.

🌟 Adding to the excitement, Andrew and Canela had a standout performance, placing 2nd in a competitive Hereford class and earning a well-deserved spot in the division’s Grand Drive.

🌟 We couldn’t be more proud of these exhibitor! Not just for their accomplishments in the ring, but for the character, sportsmanship, and commitment they’ve shown along the way.
