Most parents will post 1,500 photos of their child before they turn five. While this might seem cute, innocent, and increases “likes”, it can overexpose children by showcasing private moments that they might not like to be shared with a large audience, making them vulnerable to pedophiles and s*x offenders.

Before sharing your child’s image on social media, ask yourself a few questions:

1️⃣ Why am I sharing this?

2️⃣ Is this something I want to be part of my child’s digital life?

3️⃣ Would I want this image of my child viewed and downloaded by predators?

4️⃣ Would I want someone else to share an image like this of me?

Pause before you post -- a few moments of consideration could protect your child from unintentional harm.
