Supporting young musicians, one act of service at a time! SUTBSAA delivered snacks to the Westbury High School Band in Houston, Texas, through a service project funded by a TBSAA grant and support from SUTBSAA.
And there’s a Southern connection: the band director is a Southern University alumnus! We’re proud to support these student musicians and keep the spirit of service going.

What an amazing day at Southern University’s Career Day! 🌟
The event was a huge success — filled with meaningful conversations, mock interviews, networking, and plenty of inspiration. Students walked away motivated and ready to take the next step in their professional journeys.
A heartfelt thank-you to the wonderful industry professionals who generously lent their time and talent to pour into the next generation — your insight and encouragement made a lasting impact!
This recap video shares just a glimpse of the energy and excitement that filled the room.
Grateful appreciation to our supporters — the Southern University Tau Beta Sigma Alumni Association, the Kappa Kappa Psi Alumni Association, and the Tau Beta Sigma Alumni Association — for making this event possible through their generous grant support. 💙💛
Here’s to building brighter futures and an even bigger and better Career Day next year! 🎓✨
