SHORE Coalition On June 24, 2022 the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, a landmark decision that protected the right to abortion.

SHORE is a local grassroots organization actively advocating for equal rights for all, particularly those who have been negatively impacted by legislation that seeks to undo past progress in civil, reproductive, and LGBTQIA+ rights. This reversal changed the lives of millions of Americans forever. Though SHORE emerged from the frustration of losing access and control of our reproductive rights, this local grassroots organization advocates for equal rights for all, particularly those who have been negatively impacted by legislation that seeks to undo past progress in civil, reproductive, and LGBTQIA+ rights. SHORE actively pursues this goal through voter registration, canvassing events, and monthly meetings. SHORE proudly collaborates with Houston Oasis, Houston Atheists, and Secular Houston.
