It has been an amazing day celebrating our Princess Kinsley! 💕👑 We had an absolute blast. She started her day at Kids Fest at church, twirling, smiling, and looking adorable in her pink tutu.

Pretty in pink with her curly hair, shiny nails, and that radiant smile that just lights up every room. ✨

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who sent birthday texts, birthday love, and birthday blessings (and birthday money too 💖). We truly appreciate every call, message, and act of kindness shown to our sweet girl.

We are so grateful for the love and support you all continue to show our Princess Kinsley. It truly means so much to our family.

Here’s to Chapter 12… we can’t wait to see what this next year has in store! 🎂🎉

Our hearts are overflowing after our second annual I’m Mod About You Valentine’s Day Pizza Party!

A huge and heartfelt thank you to MOD Pizza for opening your doors and creating space for something so special. Your continued partnership truly means the world to us.

To every family who joined us — thank you. Saturday was more than sharing pizza. It was community. It was love. It was inclusion in action. 💛

This video captures just a glimpse of what we experienced.

Parents were able to walk in and feel peace… feel ease… feel seen. And our children were able to be fully themselves — joyful, expressive, brilliant, and beautifully unique.

If you are a parent of an autistic child, you know that public spaces can sometimes feel overwhelming. That’s why moments like this matter so much.

Together, we created something safe, meaningful, and full of love — a place where our overcomers could truly shine. 😊

Teaching Skills That Build Confidence

One of the most important things we can do for our kiddos on the autism spectrum is help them grow their social, physical, and motor skills — because every small step builds confidence, independence, and joy. 🌟

For years, I’ve been taking my daughter to Chuck E. Cheese, and one of our favorite activities is the basketball game.

At first, it was simply a fun outing. But over time, I realized how much it helped her with hand-eye coordination, focus, and motor skills — all while having fun! 🏀

It’s amazing to see her progress and how these moments of play turn into milestones of growth.

On September 24, 2024, MKIAO (My Kid Is An Overcomer) officially became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Today, we celebrate one year of service, one year of impact, and one year of walking alongside incredible children and families in the autism community.

Over the past year, we’ve created safe spaces for families to connect, raised awareness about autism, and supported children in building confidence and social skills. None of this would have been possible without the love, encouragement, and generosity of our community — thank you. 💛

And we’re just getting started! Stay tuned for highlights of what’s happened this past year and a glimpse into the exciting things to come in 2026.

I’m so proud of my sweet Kinsley!

In just the first five weeks of 5th grade, she’s been moving, grooving, and shining bright like a diamond (her favorite song 🎶✨). Watching her grow reminds me every day (M-K-I-A-O: My Kid Is An Overcomer) exists.
