Today, Krewe de Hou co-founder Sarah Derouen and our reigning Queen, Victoria III, Melanie Matthieu, had the privilege of attending a Child Advocates luncheon at Brennan’s.

Hearing the stories shared and learning more about the work being done for children navigating some of the hardest moments of their lives left a lasting impact on us.

Child Advocates is stepping in, speaking up, and helping bring hope, stability, and support to children when they need it most — and we could not be more honored to partner with such an incredible organization this season.

We are excited to see what we can accomplish together through fundraising, volunteering, advocacy, and simply showing up for this mission in every way we can.

This partnership means so much to us, and we are just getting started. 💛

💙 Every great show has a purpose.

We are incredibly honored to announce Child Advocates as the official 2026–2027 beneficiary of Krewe de Hou.

Child Advocates gives a voice to children in foster care by recruiting, training, and supporting volunteer advocates who stand beside them and ensure their best interests are heard.

Throughout this season, we’ll do more than host an unforgettable Mardi Gras ball. We’ll volunteer, raise awareness, and support an organization that’s changing lives right here in our community.

Because this year, every story deserves the spotlight. 🌹✨

Our 3rd Annual Crawfish Boil and Season End Party was everything. 🦞🎭

Our Krewe is growing, and this reminds us why we do it. The laughter, the teamwork, the Friendships, the behind-the-scenes hustle, the showing up over and over again — we truly couldn’t do half of what we do without the people who stand beside us.

It takes a village to build something meaningful, and I’m so grateful for ours. The heart of Krewe de Hou isn’t just the ball — it’s the community behind it.
