I recently had a conversation with my oldest son. It was about his childhood memory of me getting him and his siblings together to go into the living room and listen to gospel music while singing praises to God. He didn't quite understand what I was doing then but as an adult now He understands I was showing them how to have a relationship with God. Train up a child in the way they should go. It may not seem at the time they are getting it but later down the line, you will see the fruits of your labor.

Talk to them about having a good money mindset. Explain to them why you turned down the offer to apply for a new credit card.
