Breaking news! Neera is a fireball!!!

08/17/2026

Great news! Neera was cleared for her first vaccines! She received DHPP and Bordetella! Dr. Petersen said he no longer hears a murmur, she's in great shape, but does have a small under bite. This little girl is doing amazing and is now 3 pounds 2 ounces! Still not cleared to go outside but she's allowed to be around my younger, healthy, fully vaccinated pack members! These next posts are going to be fun!!

Neera's second recheck went even better than we thought! Keep up the great work beautiful girl!! She's now eating kibble!! She didn't want soft food anymore. She's growing up so fast!

Neera's first recheck went well! She's continuing to improve! Dr. Rhue was happy with her progress! Still has a way to go, but we're on the right track!

Not even a day later she began eating! From the start she was determined to live! She felt all the love we were sending her way and with the love Dr. Rhue and her team were giving!

Say hello to Baby Neera! She was rescued from the floods on 07/07/2026 by one of our amazing adopters/fosters. She was barely holding on to life! The second we got her to Sugar Land Veterinary Specialists, Dr. Rhue and her incredible team stepped in and begun life saving actions! She began to received a blood transfusion not even an hour after walking through the doors!

More baby Neera updates to come!! 💞🐾💞🐾
