Cricket’s Celebration of Life Update — Clown Members and Friends
At this time, we have not received information about a memorial service open to the public. The obituary link is provided below, and we will share additional details as soon as they become available. (I have posted the same to Cheerful’s FB.)
As most of you know, Cricket was an active member of Cheerful Clown Alley. I don’t believe she missed a single Texas Clown Association (TCA) convention until she retired after 32 years of clowning! She loved bringing love and laughter to people of all ages.
Cricket was a true firecracker 🧨—full of life and determined to live each day to its fullest. In her 97 years, she touched so many lives with her wit, infectious humor, flirty charm, and seemingly endless energy. She was a remarkable woman and will be dearly missed. Knowing Cricket, she is probably already organizing a food pantry or heading up a program for the angels in Heaven!
Cheerful Clown Alley will honor Cricket with a bubble release. Details will be announced when arrangements are finalized.
Some of you have asked about donations in her memory. Cricket held Cheerful Clown Alley, Boys and Girls Country, and her church, Faith United Methodist Church on Rayford Road, close to her heart. Over the years, Patticake and I even helped at the church’s pumpkin festival for Cricket—a treasured memory!
