🇵🇪✨ BIG NEWS FROM PERU! ✨🎶

We are incredibly excited to announce that Salt & Light Music Ministries is opening our 3rd mission location in Peru! 🙌🎵

What started as a step of faith continues to grow, and we are so grateful to see God opening new doors for us to reach more children, youth, families, and communities through music, discipleship, and ministry.

At this new location, we are preparing to provide training in:

🎹 Piano
🎸 Guitar
🪕 Ukulele
🥁 Drums
🎤 Singing
🎼 Music Theory
⛪ Music Ministry
🎻 And possibly Violin!

But our mission is about more than learning how to play an instrument. We want to equip the next generation to use their gifts to serve God, strengthen their churches, and become a light in their communities.

Jesus said:

“You are the salt of the earth… You are the light of the world.” — Matthew 5:13–14

Opening a third mission location in Peru is an exciting new chapter, and we know we cannot do it alone. We are thankful for every teacher, volunteer, church, donor, and friend who has believed in this mission and helped us continue moving forward.

❤️

🌎 Want to be part of what God is doing through Salt & Light?

We are looking for people who are willing to teach, volunteer, pray, give, and partner with us as we prepare to serve this new community.

Together, we can help equip another generation to learn, worship, serve, and BE THE LIGHT. 💡🎶

🎻 A Promise Kept. A Journey Begun.

We’re honored to share that Ricky Stewart has been awarded a scholarship to begin violin lessons this month through Salt & Light Music Ministries.

Ricky’s story is deeply meaningful—before his wife passed, he made her a promise that he would learn to play the violin. Today, that promise is becoming a reality.

Through this scholarship, we were able to provide not only help for his tuition, but also a violin and all the necessary accessories—removing every barrier so he can fully step into this new chapter.

This is why we do what we do. Music has the power to heal, honor, and carry love forward.

If you’d like to be part of stories like Ricky’s, consider supporting our mission. ❤️

🎻 Meet Ruby Sky Proctor 🎻

Our first scholarship recipient, now pursuing violin studies in Clarksville, TN.

In this video, Ruby shares:
✨ What music means to her
✨ Her dreams and plans for the future
✨ How Salt & Light Music Ministries has supported and encouraged her journey

Stories like Ruby’s are why we do what we do. Because when you invest in a student, you’re not just supporting music—you’re nurturing purpose, confidence, and calling.

We had a wonderful time today practicing for the International Choir's Christmas Performance at Clarksville First Assembly of God.

Tomorrow promises to be a beautiful morning.

Our music mission in Peru is approaching its third anniversary, and we have successfully established an ensemble with our most advanced students! Isn't that remarkable?

Many of these young individuals began their musical journey with us from the very beginning, and they are now actively contributing to their churches, performing at special events, participating in mission trips, and even instructing others.

We are truly excited to witness the positive outcomes of our music program. It is wonderful to see some of these young individuals performing in churches, participating in special events, embarking on mission trips, and even instructing others in music.

Our most accomplished students are part of the Salt and Light Ensemble in Peru.

🎶✨ One Band. One Song. One Amazing Moment.

During our visit to Clarksville First Assembly Students Anchored Youth Camp, we organized and did a music workshop where every student had the chance to pick up an instrument, learn something new, and—most powerfully—play a song together as one united band! 🙌🥁🎸🎹🎤

Watching these young hearts step out, try something new, and create something beautiful as a team was nothing short of incredible. THIS is what Salt & Light is all about — equipping the next generation to shine for Jesus through music and unity. 💡🎵

We believe this moment will echo in their hearts for years to come.

🌎🎶 Our First Mission Trip from Texas to Tennessee Was Incredible! 🙌

From June 6–7, our Salt & Light band and ministry team had the amazing opportunity to serve at Clarksville First Assembly Students very first youth camp — Anchored! ⚓💥

With two full days of travel — one to go and one to return — our team made the journey from Texas to Clarksville, TN, with hearts full of purpose and worship. 🛣️🕊️

A huge shoutout to Chat Anthony, Nikki Casanova, Michelle Perzan, Aaron Perzan, and Josua Ricks for leading with passion, prayer, and music. Together, we helped transform lives and hearts at Clarksville First Assembly of God's student ministry.

We saw young people encounter God in a powerful way — rooted in the Word, anchored in truth, and lifted through worship. 🙌🔥

This is just the beginning. Thank you for being part of this journey as we continue to spread light and hope through music and ministry. 💡🎵
