Bayou City Pony Club had a huge certification day today, with 12 candidates successfully certifying! Congratulations to new Riding D1s Billy, Willow, Dylan, Rylee, Eloise, Emily, and Sophia; new D1HMs Lilly and Joanna; new D2HM/D1 Riding Lauren, and new Eventing D2s Piper and Cadence!

Bayou City Pony Club Summer Minicamp #1 is complete! Members practiced horse management skills, met with members of the sheriff's livestock unit, got to see ultrasound with Dr Jordan, DVM, and had a field trip to Dover Saddlery where Gina gave our members a fabulous overview on all aspects of horse tack! And of course riding every day improved everyone's riding skills! Thanks to instructor Birdie and Club Treasurer Beth who assisted.

Today was the inaugural meeting at the New Waverly meeting location! Unmounted lessons included parts of the legs, how they work, and beginning of leg wraps.

26 members enjoyed our Pony Club meeting yesterday! We also did some prepping for the upcoming Regional Mega Rally in April!

Certification day today! We have 4 new D1HMs, 2 new riding D1s, and 2 new riding D2s. Congrats all!
