Friends,
I hope this letter finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to introduce you to Empowerment Rwanda, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals, particularly young women, in Rwanda to break the cycle of poverty and develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in life.
Through our partner organizations in Rwanda, we offer two parallel paths to success. The first is a 15-month business fellowship that provides industry training, business investment, and life and leadership skills. This program empowers each cohort of “fellows” to build profitable businesses, raise healthy families, and send their children to school. The second path provides a university education for young men and women who demonstrate strength of character, leadership, and academic rigor but who need assistance with college tuition and some living expenses.
Both of these options utilize a holistic, encompassing approach that requires attendance of activities hosted by our partner organizations. These activities focus on leadership, entrepreneurship, discipleship, mentoring, and professional development training.
We believe that by providing these opportunities, we can make a real difference in the lives of these young people. With your support, we can continue to offer these programs and expand our reach to help even more individuals in need.
Here are just a few of the ways that your donation can make a difference:
$40 provides education and food for a primary school student for a month.
$50 feeds a family of six for a month.
$100 provides a sewing machine to a young woman entrepreneur, empowering her to build a profitable business.
Your donation can have a real impact on the lives of these young people in Rwanda. Please visit our website at https://www.empowermentrwanda.org/what-we-do to learn more about our programs and how you can get involved.
Thank you for your time and consideration. Together, we can empower a generation of Rwanda's best and brightest.
Sincerely,
[Your Name]
Through our Rwandan based partner organizations, your support makes it possible to provide two parallel options for individuals, particularly young women, to reverse the cycle of poverty and develop knowledge, skills, confidence, and a competitive edge.
