Throwback Thursday

Last year's Backpack Giveaway was an incredible day of giving, community, and support!

Thanks to our amazing volunteers, donors, and community partners, Houston Cares Foundation served more than 300 families with backpacks, school supplies, and everyday household essentials to help prepare children and families for a successful school year.

It was a reminder that our community cares and that no family has to face life's challenges alone.

To everyone who donated, volunteered, and supported this event, thank you for helping us make a difference. Because of you, hundreds of children started the school year feeling prepared, confident, and encouraged.

We're looking forward to serving even more families this year!

Tuesday Tips

Small budgeting habits can lead to big financial changes.

One of the easiest ways to take control of your money is to follow the 24-hour rule before making a non-essential purchase.

If it's not something you need right away, wait one day before buying it. That extra time can help you decide if it's a necessity or simply an impulse purchase.

Many people find they save hundreds of dollars each year just by pausing before they spend.

Every dollar you save today can help you build a more secure tomorrow.
