⚾Join us for an Adaptive Field Trip to the Astros Game! ⚾

We are selecting 12 participants to join us for an unforgettable day at the Astros game on May 28 at 12:10 PM! 🎉

🚐 Trip Details:
📍 Meeting Location: Hometown Heroes Park
⏰ Meet at: 10:30 AM
🕚 Departure: No later than 11:00 AM (City Van Transportation)

Join us for a FREE Adaptive Craft session where we’ll be making adorable Owl Shamrock Ornaments! 🦉☘️ This event is specially designed for individuals with mental and physical disabilities to enjoy a fun, hands-on experience.

Three Sponsorship Applications Processed to send families to camp this summer! Let us sponsor your child or whole family!!!

Hey Hey!!! Come Check Out our Dates for Summer 2025!!! The Camper Applications will open the first week in Janaury!!

The 2025 Schedule has a number of exciting and innovative features to meet the expanding needs of the TLC family:

Back by popular demand but leading off the schedule in 2025, will be our exciting Family Stay-n-Play program combinging family camp with the residential youth camp. Families will reside at TLC, and qualifying campers will be engaged in a program designed especially for them during the day, and then will rejoin their famiy for evening programming for the whole family.
Next up, our "regular", residential youth camps for children with physical disabilities, ages 7-16 will be held. (No families at camp these weeks).
We will then host Camp David and a session for children who have Down Syndrome.
The next two weeks will see the return Dr. Ponder and the medical team and are set aside for our campers who have type-1 diabetes.
Camp Discovery will then be back in the house. A one-of-a-kind experience for children who have cancer or are in remission.
Finally, we will end the summer with our innovative program for families.

Last night our club finished out 2024 with some of our Extraordinary friends! We were disappointed that we had to cancel the Extraordinary Individuals Parade due to the rain but we had a great time parading indoors last night. We had a wonderful time celebrating friendship and community service. Thank you to our friends from the community and our partners in service from the Santa Fe Lions for helping make the event festive. Thank you to Janice with Holiday In the Park Organized by The League City Proud Organization for our partnership and their support. We look forward to continuing our service into 2025! Thank you to our guiding Lion Nancy M Gray for bringing future leader dog Astro for a visit and David Greene from the Fortbend West Lions club for supporting our club!
