Cooperative Christian Ministries and Clinic (CCMC) is excited to announce Julie Hart as the new Coordinator of its Getting Ahead program, a 14-week course designed to help individuals move from instability to independence.
Julie brings a lifelong background in education and community service, including years as a librarian and former director of the local literacy council. She holds a Master’s in Library Science and Communication from George Peabody University. Known for her hands-on approach and deep commitment to helping others, Julie is passionate about equipping participants with the tools they need to build a brighter future.
“My goal is for graduates to leave with the preparation and confidence to start a positive life and new outlook,” she shared.
Outside of work, Julie enjoys embroidery, reading, and visiting estate sales.
Getting Ahead focuses on 11 key life resources—from financial to emotional to social—offering participants not only support but also a clear plan for moving forward. Each class includes a meal, incentives, and builds toward a graduation celebration. For more information on the Getting Ahead program contact Julie at [email protected]
