Jahnke’s Juneau Piggly Wiggly has continued its strong community support by designating the Horicon Marshmen Foundation as its charity for the June round-up campaign! Piggly Wiggly customers can round up their purchase to the nearest dollar at checkout, with all proceeds benefiting the Horicon elementary, middle, and high schools within the School District of Horicon.

The foundation is pleased to announce a 2026 Bronze Elite donation of $500 by Jerry Voy to create a foundation piggy bank donation program. These piggy banks are deployed at ACE Hardware, Horicon Bank, and Marshland Pharmacy. Community members pick them up, fill them with coins, and bring them to Horicon Bank for deposit directly into the foundation’s coffers. Once a donor has at least $100 in receipts, they can bring the receipts to the school for a gift as well as recognition on social media and in the newspaper. The foundation is pleased to announce a donation by the Dahm family in memory of Karen Dahm in the amount of $1,725. To commemorate this Silver Elite Sponsorship of the foundation, the Dahm family came in for a photo and we hung their banner in the halls of the school. The Horicon Marshmen Foundation is pleased to announce its 2026 scholarship for $1,000 to Horicon High School student Andie Schuett. Andie is going to study Agricultural Education at the University of Wisconsin - Platteville this fall. The ceremony awarding Andie with this scholarship took place on May 6th.

The foundation is pleased to announce a grant of $100 to Horicon High School’s student council that furthered its activities this Spring. This is one of several grants given to student clubs in academic year 2025-2026.

Big news, Horicon! The foundation is launching the Coin Club, a fun and easy way to support students in the School District of Horicon, one coin at a time. Pick up a piggy bank around town (Horicon Bank, ACE Hardware, Marshland Pharmacy, or at Marshmen Community Coffees), fill it with your spare change, and return it to Horicon Bank to make a direct impact (keep your receipts).

Every little bit adds up! Once you reach $100 in donations, bring your receipts to the school where you’ll officially join the Coin Club, receive a gift, and be recognized for your support of our students, teachers, and schools.
