Started in 1969, the Spring Sale hosted at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton has grown into one of the biggest rummage sale events in central New Jersey. Since 1989 all sale proceeds have been donated to a selection of area non-profit organizations that have applied for a sale grant. Over the past 30 years this annual event has raised over $500,000 for charity. The public is welcome to shop the sale and to donate their quality items to be sold. An event that is as much about charity as it is about sustainability, all items in good condition that are not sold during the sale are donated to other organizations or recycled where possible. Volunteers for the event are always needed. Reach out to www.uuprinceton.org for sale information.
