Camp Bishopswood lost a true legend with the passing of Perry Hooper.

Perry worked at camp for 22 summers, and I had the privilege of working alongside him during his last five summers. He truly could do any task and took incredible pride in every improvement he made around camp.

Perry was a true Maine Yankee, always finding a way to do the best job possible for the cheapest cost. He showed up every day with a smile on his face and plenty of funny sayings once you got to know him.

So much of Camp Bishopswood carries Perry’s hard work and heart. He will be deeply missed.

We are looking for Nurses, Doctors, or PAs to join us this summer for one of these weeks:
July 11 to 18
July 25 to August 1
August 1 to 8
This is a live-on camp position, and we will provide all of your meals. While we cannot match your professional pay, we can offer:
