I checked the tracking on the OCC Shoeboxes our family packed this year , tonight. Shows that some have gone to the Republic of Congo and some have gone to a Sensitive Country in West Africa. PTL for the gospel oppurtunities as they go out across the world to share the story of Christ our Lord. May they bring joy to the children who recieve them.

I volunteered today with the OCC Collection Center at Green Valley Church ( our Home Church). Met two other great volunteers and enjoyed working with them. Ray and Noel were both sweet and easy to work with. The 150 boxes pictured were packed by graduate students at Samford University here in Birmingham. They were Nurses in the Nurse Anesthesiologist Program. Last year there group had packed 120 boxes and they increased their goal to 150 this year and met their goal. Great job Nurses! Many other individuals brought in their boxes this morning too. Amazing to get to pray over their boxes with them.

It is National Collection Week ! So excitted to drop off our 2025 OCC Shoeboxes today at our Home Church , Green Valley Church on Patton Chapel Road in Hoover , Al. This year we packed 24 boxes and supplied some items for other packers thru the year. I also had a bag of filler items to send to the Processing Center in Atlanta- mostly some soft baby dolls and filled pencil pouches.

It's crunch time at the Fontaine house. Molly came to help me this afternoon. We have finished 21 boxes for OCC 2025. That exceeded my goal of 20 boxes. Now all I need to do is add personalized notes and the stickers designating boy/girl and age ranges. I need to also go on line and pay my shipping and activate the tracking of the boxes. Last year all my boxes went to Countries in Africa . Molly is still working on a few bracelets that I will also slip into the boxes that need one. Great little helper.

My granddaughter Molly is helping me this afternoon with OCC boxes. She has been making bracelets to go in girl boxes. Close picture of a 5 to 9yr old girl box. Contents: Soccerball with pump, socks, tote book bag, composition notebook, color book, color pencils, Jesus pencil pack, tooth brushes x 2. Washcloth, stuffy plush, bracelets x 2, small my little pony toy, mini uno cards pack, jump rope 14 foot (double dutch), full and fun box. We funished 4 -2 to 4yr old boxes, 2 - 10 to 14 yr old boy boxes, one 5 to 9 yr old girl box. I still have some more boxes of 5 to 9 yr old boy and girl boxes to complete. Molly volunteered to come back tomorrow afternoon to help some more.

Finished my first boys box age 10 to 14 tonight. Contents: shirt,wash cloth, 3 pair socks,note pad paper, Jesus pencil pouch with school supplies, two toothbrushes, comb, colors, colored pencils set, mini Uno Card game, 2 match box cars, Soccer Ball with Punp, toboggan cap, drawstring backpack and pkay dough set. So excitted to be packing some of my boxes this year with soccer balls and pumps that I ordered from Western Star. Great Wow item. This box is full and fun.

First of 4- 10 to 14 yr old girl/teenager boxes I am packing from our family for OCC Shoeboxes. Contents: paper writting pad, color book, pencil pack including comb and 2 toothbrushes, drawstring back pack, mini Uno card game, Art kit- watercolors, art paper, color pencils, Barbie wrapped in washcloth, outfits for Barbie, socks, 1 set of Reusable/washable Menstration pads with 2 pair underwear and carry bag. I-bracelet WWJD in cute organza bag. Fun and full , useful and will include personal letter.

Working on making Reusable/ washable, Menstration kits for some of the Teen girls boxes age 10 to 14 yr old girls boxes, I will do for OCC Shoeboxes. Kits contain 7 pads, in a carry pouch and 2 pairs of underwear. Pads were ordered from Amazon.

Finished my first 3 - 2 to 4 year old girl shoeboxes for OCC Samaritians Purse today. They are full and fun. Contents : drawstring backpack pack, pencil pack including some hygeine items in it, wash cloth, 1 pair panties, coloring book, note pad paper, counting and numbers flash cards, handmade knit loom hat and scarf, baby doll with fleece blanket, smaller tote bag/ purse. My goal this year is 20 boxes total from our family. Any extra items I have collected will send as filler to the packing center.
