We hit the jackpot with Dr. Lisa!

She came to us as all things arrive at ParticipAid, emerged through a web of long-term relationships.

(that is to say, long story for another time 😉 )

Dr. Lisa took over leadership of our board in April of this year.

Her formal training in naturopathic medicine and Tibetan Buddhism, along with her deep connection to Nepal and plant medicine, makes her perfectly suited to captain ParticipAid through our next chapter.

We’d like to take this moment to offer deep gratitude to Dr. Lisa for so gracefully stepping into a lead role in our wonderful organization.

We’re establishing new home herbal gardens in Nepal!  Plants and people have been in healing relationship for as long as we’ve been humans.  Thank you for helping us restore these beautiful practices to protect the health and well-being of people in rural Nepal.

🌼 It’s time to enter the herbal market! 🌿   Our partners in Nepal are exploring all the different ways our farmers can enter the herbal market.   We recently met Mr. Buddha Ratna, a skilled chamomile farmer, and were very impressed with his operation!   He was also impressed with our “Prevention is Better than Cure” initiative and appreciated our approach to home herbal gardens as a means to promote health.  Just last week he travelled to the village with our team - let’s see where this relationship goes!   👋 Who loves chamomile tea?

They share many similar values with ParticipAid and our in-country partner Sagun, and we are EXCITED about that!

They want to see yoga, meditation, and Ayurveda taught in all schools across Nepal. Funny, our “Prevention is Better than Cure” model is working on that very thing! We already have a working relationship with your Department of Ayurveda, B***n sir. ��, let’s work together!

Join us in welcoming Dr. Jill Ghormley to the ParticipAid board of directors!   We have had the good fortune to have worked with Dr. Jill in Nepal for 14 years!   It’s about time she came to sit on our board of directors!   Dr. Jill puts her whole heart into her work and her art. That’s evident to all who interact with her.   She has loved the people of Nepal from the moment she set foot on that land.
