October is National Bullying Prevention Month! 🧡

Bullying isn’t always physical. It can be hurtful words, spreading rumors, excluding others, or even cyberbullying.

Sometimes we don’t know what someone is going through behind closed doors. One act of kindness can make a difference in someone’s life. ❤️

At GOALS Hawaiʻi, we believe every keiki deserves to feel SAFE, VALUED, and RESPECTED.

Let’s teach our youth to spread aloha, not hate. Speak up when you see bullying, stand beside those being hurt, and remember that kindness costs nothing.

Substance abuse doesn’t just affect one person. It can impact families, friendships, mental health, and entire communities.

At GOALS Hawaiʻi, we believe prevention starts with education, awareness, and making positive choices. ❤️

❤️ TODAY IS NATIONAL STOP BULLYING DAY! ❤️

BULLYING IS NOT PONO! 🚫

You never know what someone is going through mentally, emotionally, or even at home. Sometimes the ones who smile the most are fighting battles nobody knows about.

Bullying isn’t just physical. It can be verbal, emotional, social, or even online. Words hurt, actions hurt, and sometimes the damage lasts longer than we realize.

At GOALS Hawaiʻi, we believe every child deserves to feel SAFE, LOVED, RESPECTED, and ACCEPTED. ❤️

Remember, HURT PEOPLE HURT PEOPLE, BUT HEALED PEOPLE HEAL PEOPLE TOO! 🙏🏽

To our youth: If you’re being bullied, don’t stay silent. Speak up, reach out, and know that you’re not alone.

FROM A GOOD KID TO GANG LIFE AT 12… TO ADULT PRISON AT JUST 16 YEARS OLD. 💔

Ryan “OG” Edayan Jr., Director of GOALS Hawaiʻi, shares his powerful testimony.

Growing up, Ryan was a good kid who stayed out of trouble. But by age 10, he was already drinking, using drugs, smoking, and getting into fights. At 12, he joined a gang. By 16, he and fellow gang members were charged with two murders, and he was waivered into the adult justice system and sent to prison.

His story is a powerful reminder of how the choices we make at a young age can change our lives forever.

We’re looking for passionate individuals who are willing to get out into our communities, spread awareness about mental health, substance abuse, bullying prevention, and inspire our youth to make better choices! 🙏🏽❤️

This Halloween, let’s remind our keiki and communities that not every treat is worth taking and not every choice is worth making.

Substance abuse can affect your health, your family, your dreams, and your future. One wrong decision can change your life forever.

At GOALS Hawaiʻi, we’re all about educating, empowering, and protecting our next generation. Prevention starts with awareness, and awareness saves lives! ❤️💚

Stay safe, make healthy choices, and remember, you don’t need drugs to enjoy life!

Last month, we received this message from a youth on Maui. 💔

“Can you and your team come to Maui, Baldwin High School, to spread some aloha? I wish to be anonymous, but I’ve been getting bullied. Not just me, but there have been a lot of fights going on lately. It would be a blessing to have you, uncle, and your team come and spread aloha at our school.”

THIS IS WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO. ❤️

This is why we’re going to Maui.

We received the message, we planned it, we prayed on it, and when God says GO, YOU GO! 🙏

Remember, everybody is going through something mentally. The ones getting bullied, the ones doing the bullying, everybody is fighting battles we may know nothing about.

There’s a saying, “Hurt people hurt people.” But remember, HEALED PEOPLE HEAL PEOPLE TOO! ❤️

If you’re out there struggling, please don’t suffer in silence. Reach out. Ask for help. Talk to somebody. Healing is possible, and your life matters.

We need to raise a generation that knows aloha, shows aloha, and lives aloha. Because bullying is NOT PONO!

We’re not going to Maui to judge anybody. We’re going to spread love, hope, awareness, and ALOHA!

October is National Bullying Prevention Month! 🧡

GOALS Hawaiʻi is teaming up with Mana Recovery Center to spread awareness, stand up against bullying, and remind our youth that ALOHA is stronger than hate! 💯

📍 Across from Baldwin High School, Wailuku, Maui
📅 Monday, October 26th
⏰ 2:00 PM

We invite our community, families, and youth to come out, hold a sign, and help us spread aloha! Every voice matters, and together we can make a difference. 🙌🏽
