Today we recognize Imagine a Day Without Water, an annual, national day to remember the importance of water.

Vital to our health, environment and economy, water is the source of life, and protecting it takes collaboration. HCF’s Fresh Water Initiative recently gathered partners across sectors to experience where our water comes from, and discuss how we can work together to address challenges ahead.

One week after Hurricane Lowell, communities across the state are still navigating the storms impacts and continuing recovery efforts.

We’re grateful to the community partners who have mobilized to support those affected into the donors whose generosity has made that possible. Together we’ve deployed over $350,000 through Stronger Hawai‘i to support residents impacted by the storm.

As needs continue to emerge in the weeks and months ahead, Stronger Hawai‘i remains committed to providing flexible support where it’s needed most.
