Women of Oahu Announces Restructuring for Greater Transparency and Community Focus
Honolulu, Hawaii - April 10, 2024 - Women of Oahu, a community-driven organization dedicated to empowering women across the island, today announces significant changes in response to feedback from our valued members.
Over the past several months, it has become apparent that our previous structure, under the leadership of COO Danielle Wills, lacked the transparency and accountability necessary to best serve our community. Despite our efforts to address concerns, we have determined that a fundamental restructuring is necessary to ensure that the interests of our members remain at the forefront of all decisions.
Effective immediately, Women of Oahu will be transitioning to a new legal entity, Women of Oahu Social Club LLC. This change is intended to provide greater transparency, accountability, and control over our operations, ensuring that we can better serve the needs of our community.
As part of this transition, we regret to inform our members that the www.womenofoahu.com website is no longer under our control. Unfortunately, this website was solely managed by the former COO, and we are unable to access any historical data, funds, or control over its content. No funds submitted to the old website will reach the correct parties. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and encourage our members to take action by canceling their membership on www.womenofoahu.com and registering on our new website, www.woosocialclub.com.
Despite these challenges, we remain committed to our mission of empowering women on Oahu. Moving forward, Women of Oahu Social Club LLC will continue to offer low-cost memberships with enhanced benefits, including free events, discounted events, partner discounts, and more.
To show our appreciation for you sticking with us through these challenges, we would like to offer all current members one free month to The WOO Social Club. Please monitor your email for your discount code. If you do not receive one by tomorrow, April 10, 2024, please reach out to [email protected].
Our commitment to putting our members first remains unwavering. We understand that change can be difficult, and we want to assure our members that we are here to address any concerns or questions you may have. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected] or message the Women of O’ahu official page. Our dedicated team will be monitoring these channels and responding to inquiries within 24 hours.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or uncertainty caused by these changes. It is our hope that this restructuring will allow Women of Oahu to better serve our community and continue to empower women across the island.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
Sincerely,
Rae Sunshine
President & CEO, Women of O’ahu Social Club
