Who around you is hidden in plain sight? 👀
We’re often so focused on what’s next that we miss the people God has placed right in front of us.
In the Bible, orphans and widows were the overlooked. Today, they might be the college student far from home, the lonely coworker, the military family, or the elderly neighbor who needs a hand.
This week, slow down. Ask God, “Who have I been too busy to notice?”
You might discover that the person everyone else overlooks is the one God is calling you to love. ❤️

Our 1st Midweek Meetup was a success! 🙌 Last night reminded us that spiritual growth happens in community. We laughed, shared a meal, heard from Oscar & Gloria, talked together, and closed the night in acoustic worship.

We’re grateful for everyone who came. Can’t wait to do it again next week. 🤙

❓Who are you missing? 👀

It’s easy to get so focused on winning, achieving, and checking off our goals that we walk right past the very people God is asking us to notice.

James 1:27 completely redefines what real faith looks like. It’s not measured by church attendance or how much Bible we know—it’s revealed in how we love the people who have no one.

Today’s “orphans and widows” might be:
🤝 The coworker who always eats alone.
👵 The elderly neighbor who rarely gets visitors.
👩‍👧 The overwhelmed single mom.
🙋 The newcomer who hasn’t been seen in weeks.

Real faith is only as visible as our love for the invisible.

Compassion and holiness were never meant to compete—they belong together. One hand reaches outward to those in need, while the other guards our hearts from being shaped more by culture than by Christ. ❤️🙏

Today, ask God one simple question:
“Who do You see that I’m missing?”

Then be ready to act on whatever He shows you. It could change someone’s life… and yours.

Compassion is not just a feeling. It is a call to action. In Luke 10, Jesus tells the story of the Good Samaritan to answer a simple but loaded question: who is my neighbor? Two religious leaders passed by a beaten man on the road. A Samaritan, considered an outsider, stopped and helped. The difference was not just that he felt something. He did something. Compassion is what happens inside us, but mercy is compassion in action. The invitation is the same for us today: when you feel that nudge toward someone in need, do not just feel it. Move.
